Rape victim demands justice
CHECHAWATNI, April 06,2005:Gang rape victim Parveen Bibi has said that if her rapists are not arrested then she will set ablaze her self. She expressed these views in a press conference along with her Uncle on Tuesday.
In the press conference Parveen Bibi alias Pathani, resident of Chak R.107/7 told that she was brutally gang raped by rapists Ghulam Farid, Rasab, Saeed, Shahid, Farid s/o Ahmed and others on gunpoint on March 6. She said that the rapists kidnapped her and took her to an isolated place when she was going alone. They blind folder her with a black ribbon.
“When her relatives found her missing for hours, they called the police party but it was too late as she was in asking condition”, she maintained.
She further said that Harapa police despite tall claims have failed to provide her with justice. She has demanded from President Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Governor, and Chief Minister Punjab along with Inspector General Police to provide her justice and immediately arrest the rapists otherwise she will set ablaze herself.
