PTCL facilitates customers through PCPM
KARACHI: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) gives high priority to customer care and is constantly endeavoring to extend relationship with customers by giving them various easy and ubiquitous options for bill payment.
The company is bringing in latest and state-of-the-art competence in this regard by making investment in introducing latest technologies towards services and customer facilitation. Public cash/card Payment Machines (PCPM) is the innovative step in this regard, which will enhance customersÂ’ bill payment experience. PCPM machines are self payment collecting kiosks which accept cash from the customers against the services provided by PTCL and provide receipt/SMS confirmation to their selected mobile numbers against the cash input. By using these machines, the customers will be able to pay their PTCL invoices by visiting PTCL business offices themselves without involving any PTCL staff.
Customers can pay while shopping at malls. Now they do not have to undergo hassle and time wastage standing in queues for paying their bills. Machines are customer oriented easy handling touch screen mode feature having the dialect both in Urdu and English. PTCL customers can use this facility for the payment of telephone, broadband, IPTV and EVO bills. They can also recharge of WLL and other prepaid services as well. These machines update the customer account immediately. Advance and partial payments are also accepted. The machines will generate receipts for customer in confirmation for the payment. Suspended lines will be restored automatically on payment. Under first phase PTCL has installed machines at Metro and Dolmen Mall, Tariq Road, Karachi. Abdullah Yousef Abdullah, Senior Executive Vice President Business Zone South while inaugurating PCPM at Metro said “The new service will save the time and effort of the customers; it will facilitate customers when paying their monthly bills while shopping at malls in very easy way.
