“We are not narrow-minded people and believe in broad vision of women rights,” he said.Mr Hussain said that Pakhtun women today were working in different fields.

He said that the setting up of Bacha Khan Women Institute was under consideration where women would be imparted training in different fields, so that they could support their families. “We have also established a commission for the rights of women, headed by a woman minister, and given it the task of protection of women rights,” he said.
