Prime Minister and Information Minister Mourn the Loss of Deputy Chief Executive of Business Recorder Group Arshad Zuberi
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar have expressed grief over the death of senior journalist Arshad Zuberi. Zuberi, the Deputy Chief Executive of the Business Recorder Group, passed away on December 29 at the age of 72 following a prolonged illness. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
In a condolence message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family. He acknowledged Zuberi’s significant contributions to journalism, emphasizing that his dedication to the profession will always be remembered.
Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar also shared his sorrow over Zuberi’s passing, describing it as a profound loss for his family and the journalistic community. In his condolence message, Tarar highlighted Zuberi’s dedication to economic journalism and his exceptional talent, which set a high standard in the newspaper industry.
“The void left by Zuberi’s passing is irreplaceable, and his remarkable achievements and contributions to the industry will always be remembered,” Tarar stated.
