Press Club hall named after Hameed Nizami
FAISALABAD – The main central hall of Faisalabad Press Club was titled with the name of Tehreek-e-Pakistan great leader, companion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and founder of Nawa-i-Waqt, Hameed Nizami.
The meeting of the executive body of the Club held here the other day that was presided over by the President Shahid Ali gave the approval in this regard on the resolution of Mian Saleem Shahid.
The resolution said that the hall at old building of the Press Club was named after Hamid Nizami so the new hall should be called with the same name.
The purpose of titling the hall was to pay tributes to the great leader, the members added.
Earlier, Secretary Press Club Hamid Rafique, vice president Sajjad Haider Munna, finance secretary Zikarullah Hasani, executive members Mian Saleem Shahid, Ziaullah Nasir Butt, Mirza Naeem Baig, Intizar Mehndi Nagina, Imtiaz Ahmad, Anwar Kamal, and Muhammad Tahir approved the resolution.
