PPP govt provided 40, 000 jobs
KHAIRPUR: Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister, Ms Sharmila Farooqi has said that present government of PPP has provided 40, 000 jobs to the people on merit basis.
‘PPP government is striving for the welfare and better living of masses and especially for the women it had started Shaheed Benazir income Support Program through which poor and deserving women get financial support”, she said speaking at an open court at Darbar Hall here on Thursday.
The government is committed to provide all basic facilities to masses at their doorstep, she added.
She said it is first time in the history that NFC award issue was unanimously resolved.
She said President Ash Zardari is the symbol of federation and assemblies of four provinces have passed resolutions showing confidence in him. She said government has formed anti terrorist rapid force to maintain peace in province.
Sharmila further said that 1973 constitution will be restored in its original shape and charter of democracy will be implemented. She also visited central jail Khairpur and met prisoners and listened to their problems and assured resolving the same, The jail superintendent briefed the Advisor about the problems of jail staff.
She also visited under-construction site of Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical Collage teaching hospital, Civil Hospital Khairpur, Lady Wihington Hospital, Banarsi Market and other places of Khairpur city.
Political Secretary to CM, Nazar Muhammad Gaho, DCO, DPO and other officials of Ehairpur, PPP ladies wing leaders Yasmin Abro, Perveen Mumtaz, Lateefan and others were present on the occasion.
