PPI News Agency Condemns Target Killing of its Bureau Chief Islamabad, demands deterrent punishment to killer

Karachi, Nov 02 (PPI): Pakistan Press International (PPI) News Agency Thursday strongly condemned brutal target killing of its Bureau Chief at Islamabad Office Malik Muhammad Ismail and demanded of the government to give deterrent punishment to those involved after independent investigations preferably judicial inquiry.

In a statement in Karachi, PPI News Agency said body of Muhammad Ismail, with his head smashed, was found on Wednesday morning lying among trees in a green belt, not far away from PPI office in F-6-I Super Market, Islamabad.

According to the doctor who carried out autopsy of the body at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences PIMS, it seemed to be “a brutal target killing.” While, expressing deepest condolences, PPI prayed May Allah rest departed soul in eternal pece and hoped members of the bereaved family find the strength to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.

PPI said Muhammad Ismail was a thorough professional admired for his courage in discharge of his responsibilities. His brutal killing creates doubts in minds of people that seem to be preplanned and called for investigating this brutal act at the earliest and deterrent punishment to the perpetrators.
