Photographers barred from entering SC building
ISLAMABAD- Photojournalists were not allowed to enter the Supreme Court (SC) building so as to cover the news conference by a lawyer leader, forcing him to speak to the Press under the open sky at 12:30pm.
The president of Lahore High Court Bar Association, Hafiz Abdur Rehman Ansari, had invited mediamen to the Pakistan Bar Council office, located in the SC building. When the photojournalists reached there to cover the event, they were not allowed to enter the building.
However, Mr Rehman talked to the SC Registrar but got a negative response. He said the LHC bar association would fully support the Pakistan Bar Council’s threat of direct action against the “usurper judges”.
