PFUJ, Apnec set up protest camps

KARACHI, April 6: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists and All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation set up on Wednesday ‘protest camps’ in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar against irregular employment and non-implementation of the Seventh Wage award.

According to a PFUJ press release, a large number of newspaper employees and union leaders vowed at the camps to continue their struggle. The camp could not be set up in Quetta because of elections of the Balochistan Union of Journalists.

The Press release and that the two organization would held meeting on April 12, and take out processions from press clubs.
