PESHAWAR (January 31 2008): Unidentified outlaws blew up two music centres at Mohallah Afridiabad in the jurisdiction of Pandhu police station in city, police said here on Wednesday. The centres owned by Sajjad and Malang Jan was badly damaged and valuables including electronic equipment and CDs were destroyed.
The loud sound of explosion occurred as result of detonation of improvised explosive device was heard in a long distance which had created panic. Police officials said that possibility of the alleged linkage of three miscreants killed in the morning blast in Peshawar can’t be overlooked. A heavy contingent of police and bomb disposal squad rushed to the place and collected evidence from the site.
A police official said the bomb was locally made and were possibly carried timers. A case has been registered and investigation started by police.
