PEMRA is becoming incompetent, PFUJ
Islamabad: PFUJ President Afzal Butt has strongly condemned the action of Pemra regarding the suspension of the license of ARY News by Pemra saying that Pemra has reached the extreme of indecency today.
Talking to ARY News, Afzal Butt said that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) is violating its own laws, there is no such provision in the law to punish without issuing notice.
The President of PFUJ said that Pemra has reached the extreme of incompetence today, Pemra should correct its mistake immediately or PFUJ will be nationwide.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has revoked the license of ARY News for airing the statement of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in the headlines at 9 pm.
PEMRA has issued an order and suspended the telecast of ARY News, while PEMRA has issued an order not to telecast Imran Khan’s statement and speech at 8.30 pm.
