Parties congratulate Majid Nizami
ISLAMABAD – Political parties of the country on Monday congratulated Editor-in-Chief Nawa-i-Waqt Group of Publications, Majid Nizami, for receiving APNS Lifetime Achievement Award.
Central leader of PML-N Raja Zafar-ul-Haq while congratulating him said that Majid Nizami is a true patriot who strives for strengthening the ideological boundaries of the country. “He is an ideal patriot whose patriotism always reflects through his writings and policy of his newspapers. We pray for his health.” he added.
Parliamentary leader of PML-Q in the National Assembly Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat also lauded the role of Majid Nizami in the history of national journalism. Paying tribute to the Editor-in-Chief of Nawa-i-Waqt Group of Publications, he said that Majid Nizami is an icon of free and fair media.
“Nizami Sahib is a true Pakistani who always stands alert on the ideological frontiers of the country. For his patriotism, he is an ideal of millions of people in Pakistan and abroad,” Faisal complimented.
PPP MNA Noor Alam Khan, who is also a Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Commerce, also congratulated Nizami and said that his role in the history of journalism is ideal. He always works for the country and freedom of the media. The way he uses his publications to serve the country and educate the people about the basis of this nation is no doubt marvellous, he added.
