Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf condemns killing of Geo employee
Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Secretary General Dr. Arif Alvi, President Javed Hashmi and Information secretary Shafqat Mahmood strongly condemned the killing of Faraz Haider, a production coordinator for the Creative Department of Geo Television, who died due to the firing of Rangers near the Liaqatabad bridge.
The PTI sent its condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased. The party expressed its concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi.
Imran Khan stated that law enforcing agencies failed to prevent violence and damage to both public and private properties in Karachi. He added that the bloodshed had disrupted routine economic activity in the metropolis.
The PTI chairman has asked the people of Karachi to remain calm and restore peace to the financial hub of the country.
