Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), All Pakistan Newspapers Employees (APNEC) urge for interim relief

KARACHI- The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and All Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (APNEC) urge for interim relief

Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (APNEC) have urged the chairman of the 7th Wage Board to immediately convene the first meeting of the Board and announce interim relief.

This demand was made at the concluding session of a three-day meeting of the NEC and FEC which was presided over by APNEC chairman Abdul Hameed Chapra and president PFUJ 1H Rashid.

The meeting expressed satisfaction over the constitution of the 7th Wage Board.

The joint meeting was attended by office-bearers of the PFLIJ including secretary general Fauzia Shahid, and APNEC, including senior -vice president Shaukat Yousufzai and secretary general Pervez Shaukat and Abdullah Jan and CBA unions and unions of journalists from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Karachi. The CBNs from Herald Workers Union, Jang Employees Unions Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Javed Press Union, APP Employees Union, Awam Employees Union, The News Employees Union Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Leader Press Union were represented by their presidents and general secretaries.

The Karaci)i Union of Journalists has hosted the event that finalised the proposals for the interim relief.
