Official website of district government not updated
TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN: The official website of the district government, developed and updated by its information-technology cell, is not up-to-date for the last one year and lacks important information about Contingency Plan 2012, Rain Emergency Cell, Revenue, Agricultural Extension, Police, Excise, Forest, Zakat, Ushr Social Welfare and Women’s Development departments etc.
The website, which is supposedly updated daily, has no information regarding the government’s activities relating to concerned departments. The District Government (http://wwwtnikhan.gov.pl only introduces the entire district department and speaks only of its aims and functions.
It has no information about the activities of the Contingency Plan 2012, Rain Emergency Cell, Revenue, Local Government, Agricultural Extension, Police, Excise, Forest, 2akat, Ushr, Social Welfare and Women’s Development departments etc.
‘The website is not updated for the last one year and if any department pro-vides us new information, we do upload it. It is not our fault if something is missing from it,” said an official of the IT department, which is responsible for developing, maintaining and up-dating the website.
