No evidence on Pearl’s death: Noorani
ISLAMABAD- Interior Secretary Tasneem Noorani has said no evidence has so far been found to confirm that abducted US journalist Daniel Pearl is dead. While delivering this statement, the prime suspect in the case had also stated that he had no link with the people possessing Daniel Pearl, Noorani told PTV here on Thursday while referring to a statement of Shaikh Omar before the anti-terrorist court. He said Omar had also stated a few days ago that he had asked his colleague to release the journalist to which they failed to respond.
