‘News shouldn’t be published without verification’

KARACHI: Senior journalist Naseem Rajput said that reporters should conduct reporting under the law of country and in this regard constitutions are present all over the world, except Pakistan.

Rajput expressed these views while addressing students in the Mass Communication Department, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) on Wednesday.

He stated that without verification, news should not be published and patience should be present in reporting regarding news and no work could be impossible in front of strong determination. Friends were always present in the field of journalism but in case of news friendship did not come in consider, he added.

Rajput further said that before going for an interview or any assignment, reporters should have complete knowledge so that work could be easy and proper.

He said that work in electronic media is difficult. He advised students to join any media in education period.
