NBP dedicates Regional IT Centre to Arfa Karim
Lahore: President National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Qamar Hussain said on Wednesday that the bank had plans to get its countrywide branch network fully online within next few months.
He was addressing a ceremony held to dedicate NBP Regional IT Centre to Arfa Karim Randhawa.
Now the center to be called ‘NBP Arfa Karim Regional IT Centre’.
Parents of Arfa Karim were also present on the occasion and inaugurated the center along with Qamar Hussain.
NBP President said that the bank had decided to dedicate its Regional IT Centre Lahore to Arfa Karim to pay rich tributes to her for her services.
“We always wanted to promote our unsung heroes.
Therefore, the bank has decided to dedicate Regional IT Center Lahore to her.”
“Arfa is Pakistan’s pride.
She is a youth icon, a role model for generations to come.
It is sad that we have lost her at such a young age; however her personality and achievements should be used to inspire our youth,” he added.
