Nazim for speedy disposal of revenue cases

MIRPURKHAS- District Nazim Dr Sughra Junejo has directed the Revenue officers to dispose of cases on merit and avoid issuing long dates so that people could get justice soon.

She was speaking at open Kachehry held on Tuesday at the district Nazim secretariat lawn. On the complaint of citizens, she directed the TMO to remove all illegal encroachments and take steps to improve health, sewerage and water services. She further directed to take strict action against the contractors who violate rules.

She directed the EDO education, to provide necessary facilities in the schools and also asked to re-open the closed girls schools of the district from beginning of the year with the cooperation of UNICEF. The Nazim said that on behalf of district government program to provide jobs to disabled would soon be launched.

She assured the people that their grievances would be solved on priority basis. Kanjimal Rano Bheel, district coordinator of HRCP core-group Mirpurkhas complained the Nazim that he had tried to meet her 11 times during a month, but failed as she was not available in her office to hear problems of minority community.

Replying to a question she said that unfortunately she could not meet with him, while she was sitting there, at her office regularly. DCO,Syed Mumtaz All Shah said the basic purpose to hold open kachehry was to hear problems of the people and added as officers of all the department are present here and people should point out the real issues.

He directed the EDO health to take legal action against Quake doctors and unregistered doctors in the district and said minority patients coming in civil hospital Mirpurkhas be provided with treatment facilities from Pakistan Baittiumall funds. District Naib Nazim Dr Zafar Ahmad Kaniali, DPO Mirpurkhas, elected representatives, officers of different government departments were also present on the occasion.
