National music festival in Khanaspur starts today
PESHAWAR: A three-day fun-filled national music festival starts today (Friday) in the scenic valley of Khanaspur, Ayubia, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Corporation (KPTC) said in a press statement on Thursday.
The festival, to be held at cricket ground from June 29 to July 1, is organised by KPTC with public-private partnership. The government has intensified cultural and social activities to fight back terrorism in the province that it has been facing after the Taliban were ousted from Afghanistan in late 2001. The corporation is holding this festival for the last three years to revive cultural and social activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
