NADRA starts work on issuing smart cards to Sindh government employees
Hyderabad: A six-month project to prepare and provide Smart Card to each employee of Sindh Government by NADRA started functioning at Block-C, Shahbaz Building here Wednesday.
Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Ahmed Bux Narejo inaugurated the office of this Registration Cell of NADRA (Data Base) by registering himself at the cell. Syed Latif Shah, an officer of NADRA informed that during next six months all the employees of Sindh Government would be registered with the NADRA where official information of each employee would be recorded.
Narejo, talking on the occasion, said that documentation is very essential for progress in each field. He said that now the rights of each employee would be recorded with NADRA in his / her interest. He said that this was also essential to formulate the future policies for the government employees as well.
He asked the NADRA officials to chalk out the schedule in such a way so that these should be no over crowd or duplication in their work. He assured the officers for providing all necessary help in completing their project with success.
He also directed the departmental heads and officials to cooperate with the management of cell so that the project is completed within stipulated period.
