MTV Pakistan to beam soon

KARACHI – Music Television (MTV) is all set to launch in Pakistan in mid-November with an aim to change the dynamics of the local music scene as it is today. Our local artists will soon go global and become known on the international front as well. As the most viewed music channel internationally, MTV continues to dominate the entertainment industry for the past 25 years. Having established itself as a universal phenomenon, influencing over 140 countries world wide, it has evolved into a dynamically creative enterprise with a complete diverse platform. This time in collaboration with Indus TV Network – the trailblazers of the music industry in Pakistan, MTV’s partnership will have a far-reaching impact from which there will be no turning back for the fast developing music industry. Ghazzanfar Ali, the CEO of Indus TV Network, is proud of this strategic partnership with Bill Roedy, president MTV Networks International, who will be in Pakistan to join the celebrations being organised for the launch. Recently, Pakistani music is giving away its own flavor to the international audience, by attracting attention internationally, local music idols are a source of great pride to the nation. But more has to be done to promote this industry.
