MPA opposes Domestic Violence Bill
MMA MPA Ihsanullah Waqas Monday opÂposed ‘Punjab Prevention of Domestic Violence Bill’.
He presented his point of view on the Bill before tne Punjab AsÂsembly standing committee on Home Affairs meeting held unÂder the chairmanship of Rai Ahsan Raza Kharal. The MP A believed thatthe Bill would cause increase in separation cases due topolice involvement in the famÂily affairs. He was of the view that the Muslim Laws already provided sufficient measures to prevent domestic violence.
