Mithi radio starts today its test transmission

MITHI, September 19 2005: Radio Pakistan Mithi is going to start its experimental test transmission from Monday September 19 on FM 108MHz. A press statement issued by the station director of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Mithi, said the daily transmission would be from 8am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10:15pm.

The radio station will present programmes in Urdu, Sindhi, Dhatki (the Desert Sindhi) and Marvari (Rajasthani) languages.

Following programmes have been put on the schedule: Jhangi Manjhh-Jhhangaan at 12:05 noon, Urdu programme Daman-i-Thar, songs, Otaq, Hello Mithi and Hello Karoonjhar.

Besides, relaying news bulletins, the radio would continue broadcasting cultural and literary programmes.
