PRIVATE TV channels are airing misleading advertisements, including the ones which are risking the health and lives of citizens. Companies through such misleading ads claim that their products can control diabetes etc.

through food supplements they are advertising.

We also see advertisements of some oil daily on TV. I have sent such advertisements clips to Pemra, leading TV channels and advertisement agencies with a comprehensive research on these products that they are misleading and are injurious to the health of people.

So far I have not received any response. These authorities should impose self-censorship and disallow such advertisements.
