MIRPURKHAS – Mother of Afaq Ahmed, correspondent daily The Nation, Mrs Mushtaq passed away late Saturday night at the age of 65. She left behind five sons and three daughters to mourn her death.
She was buried on Sunday after Zuhar’ prayers in the local graveyard. Her Soyem was held on Monday.
Meanwhile, all staffers of The Nation Karachi, including resident editor extended their heartÂfelt condolences to Afaq Ahmed.
President National Press Club, Qamaruddin Sheikh and general secretary Hashim Sher also expressed their sorrow and grief over the sad demise of the lady.
They expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family and pray to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
Furthermore, Zila Naib Nazim Dr Zafar Ahmed Kamali, Taluka Nazim Chulam Dastageer Khan, Zonal in-charge MQM Saleem Razzak, members of zonal committee, government officers elected representatives atÂtended the funeral prayer and condoled with the family of the deceased.
