Minor girl’s body recovered
Karachi: A body of a 10-year-old unidentified girl who was strangled, tortured and sexually abused was found packed in a gunny bag from the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police limits. Police sources said that it was Sunday morning when a garbage picker came over at a garbage dump situated near Waseem Bagh, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. While searching the garbage, he saw a gunny bag and opened it.
He found the body of the young girl and informed the police who shifted it to the hospital. During examination it was found that the body was six to seven days old. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
MISHAPS: A 25-year-old unidentified man was crushed to death by a speeding car at the Northern Bypass, Manghopir while another 35-year-old unidentified man was crushed to death by a speeding car at the Lyari Expressway.
