Microsoft, AKF-P to explore ICTs potential
ISLAMABAD: Microsoft (Pakistan) and the Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan (AKF-P) have reached an understanding to explore the potential and challenges of using information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development with prominent civil society organizations (CSOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the country.
Under the agreement, the AKF-P, through financial assistance from Microsoft, Pakistan, will organize a dialogue in Islamabad next month with prominent CSOs/NGOs who have been using the ICTs to address challenges of income and other poverty, health, education, environment, cultural heritage and participation in the country.
