Media urged to create awareness about polio
DERA ISMAIL KHAN – Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Sardar Abbas has urged media people to play their role in changing the mindset as well as create awareness in society about polio.
He was presiding over a meeting in DI Khan to review the polio eradication arrangements across the region including adjacent South Waziristan on Tuesday, said an official handout. Commissioner Dera, Sardar Abbas Khan expressed his satisfaction over the over all performance of ongoing polio campaigns in Tank, Dera and South Waziristan Agency. While reviewing arrangements by the relevant departments to vaccinate underage children across the region.
