He continued that demand for separate province was the right of the people of Hazara, but they should adopt the legal and constitutional way for it. Mian Iftikhar declared that blocking of roads and business or damaging the life and property or peace of the area was intolerable and it was the responsibility of the government to stop such incidents.

He maintained that we are peaceful people and believe on talks, therefore, we invite the Hazara Tehrik for talks and even we are ready to go there for it. He said that establishment of separate province was a time-taking and tolerable task and this objective could not be achieved on force or agitation.

He said that the present government was taking all possible steps for promotion and encouragement of regional and local as well as small newspapers and government advertisements were issued purely on merit to the press without any favouritism or likes and dislikes.

He asked the owners of newspapers to follow the code of conduct and refrain from issuing such materials that could harm the feelings of others. He assured that the advertisement policy would be reviewed for promotion of the regional and local newspapers and equal distribution of advertisements would be ensured to the press.
