Media urged to check Indian Propaganda

KARACHI- Speakers at a seminar have underlined the need for media war to strongly project the country’s policies and stand on various issues and cheek India’s propaganda, which has allocated at least seven TV channels for the same.

The seminar, titled ‘Lahore Declaration, Kashmir issue and Pak-India Relations’, was held Under the auspices of the Jamaat-e-Islami.

N.D Khan emphasized that media, especially the government run media, should play a more strong role in projecting the country’s policies and actions on international fora. “At least two channels should be spared for this job,” he said. “India has riot only allotted significant time of its TV channels to propagate its policies but has purchased a good amount of time at the BBC and CNN channels,” he added.
