Media trial of President Zardari is part of a planned scheme: Ijaz Durrani
Karachi: Bilawal House spokesman Ijaz Durrani said on Thursday that media trial of the President Asif Ali Zardari is part of a planned scheme, in which yesterday‘s enemy and fool friends of today are involved who spent billions of rupees from national exchequer on his media trial. However, all these conspiracies have ended in shameful defeat.
The spokesman said that biggest accomplishment of President Asif Ali Zardari is that he restored sanctity and dignity of the Awan-e-Sadr, which earned him admiration from the democratic forces and the people, because different dictators had converted it into a den of conspiracies for their personal interests and issued dismissal and dissolution orders of elected democratic governments and the elected houses and during last 30 years.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari has made Awan-e-Sadr a truly Awan-e-Awam and the remnants of dictator Gen Zia are unable to digest this great accomplishment of the President and are crying for making the President House into People‘s House. An Awan-e-Sadr which remained a No Go Area for the elected representatives of the masses has been converted into a Centre of National Wisdom where people‘s problems are solved due to the revolutionary steps of President Asif Ali Zardari, he added.
The spokesman said it is due to the personal efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari that the media is enjoying unmatched freedom as in the past senior journalists and analysts were kidnapped and kept in illegal confinements for months on the special directives from the Awan-e-Sadr. Today media is enjoying the envious freedom and now even some conscience-selling elements have taken the garb of journalists and are targeting President Asif Ali Zardari violating all moral and journalistic values easily in their venom-spitting.
He said the way President Asif Ali Zardari is tolerating outrageous and immoral criticism on his person would write his name in golden words in the history.
