Media Cell established in Information Dept
Karachi: A media cell has been established in the Information Department where-round-the clock monitoring of electronic media is being ensured to immediately address the basic social and human rights issues.
This was disclosed by the Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Sharmila Farooqui, while talking to an 18-member delegation of the Pakistan Association of Press Photographers (PAPP), led by Senior Press Photographer Mujeebur Rehman at media cell. The Consul-General of Japan in Karachi, Masharu Sato, also accompanied the delegation. Sharmila opined that the media should highlight social and human rights issues forcefully and positively.
