MasterChef Pakistan going to be screened soon

KARACHI: One of the most favourite reality television shows ‘MasterChef Pakistan’ is going to be screened soon on a local entertainment channel of the country, Chef Zakir, Chef Mehboob and Chef Awan will be the judge of the cooking show.

In Pakistan Knorr is presenting the ‘MasterChef’, which will be screened by one of the entertainment channel of Pakistan with co-sponsored by Ariel, Shan Foods and 7up.

MasterChef is among the top favourite cooking reality shows, which was first launched in Australia and later due to its success, number of countries have launched this show.

High Commissioner of Australia Peter Heyword at the launching organised by Statuspro 360 on Monday said, “After tremendous success of MasterChef in Australia, many countries have adopted this reality programme.” It is a competition someone has to win or someone has to loose, however, the programme provides helping and caring environment among competitors, he said.

MasterChef Pakistan will also get a huge success as people of Pakistan have very delicious taste of foods and they like cooking and enjoying different foods, he added.

Ahmer said, “Initially, he was thinking people of Pakistan like to eat food but they do not know about cooking but after getting overwhelmingly response in auditions, my thought has been changed.”

He was of the view in auditions, participants not only cooked local foods but they also cooked delicious dishes of other countries, which were also not offered in well-reputed restaurants. For this first edition of MasterChef Pakistan, auditions have been completed in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi, he said.

Sara Sadiq of Knorr said, “Knorr is very proud to present MasterChef Pakistan.” Food is not just about mixing ingredients it is about presenting ingredients in best way with delicious taste. Terming the cooking passion in Pakistan, she said, “Although cooking is home chore but it is also a passion for Pakistanis as they love food”.

Maheem Hassan of Ariel said, “MasterChef is a best ever platform for the people, who have interest of becoming Chef.” She said she and her Company was very proud for playing their role in such an initiative”.

Muhmmad Urbab of 7up and Haroon Rasheed of Shan Foods also expressed their best wishes and support to the programme.
