MARDAN: The cityÂ’s major cable network here was blown up on Eid day, which was completely turned into ashes, while the walls of surrounding shops badly damaged, however no casualty could be happened.
Police said that some miscreants had planted explosives near Mardan Cable Network, which were exploded on Eid day due to which not only the shop was destroyed but walls of office of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) were also damaged partially.
Owner of the cable network, Javed Khan lodged FIR with the city police station against the unidentified miscreants while owners of other cable service also closed their offices and stopped their operation in the area.
Locals of the areas have expressed grave concerns over the explosions and sabotage activities in the city. They said that similar activities have become the order of the day for the last several months but law enforcement agencies have failed to avert such activities.
