MARDAN: A bomb exploded at the main gate of Government Girls High School (Sharqi) here on early Monday morning, however no casualty was reported as school was closed at that time. The powerful blast destroyed the main gate and classrooms and its sound was heard in the whole city and surrounding areas.
There are three watchmen in the school but no was present at that time.
It is noteworthy that this series of blast has been continued in Mardan district since a few months. But previously the blasts occurred in the rural areas and now the third blast of the series hits city area.
There is a wave of terror among people and the owners of video centres who are receiving threatening letters; Even the police station is not safe.
