KARACHI – An old man resident of DHA, Karachi held a protest demonstration outside KPC, seeking recovery of his three ‘missing’ daughters and his ex-wife who he claimed were ‘detained’ by some influential persons for the sake of money.

The citizen who identified him as Sohail Mughal told media men that he was engaged in real estate business in the city. He claimed that his ex-wife Fauzia and three daughters , Tania, Farza and Areeba, who were living separately, have been allegedly detained by some influential persons.

He further claimed that the four women had been missing since July 2016 and since then he is trying his best to trace them but in vain.

“My daughters and ex-wife were living separately in an apartment in Defense Housing Authority’s Phase-V but suddenly they went disappeared from there without even shifting their furniture and other items,” he added.

He alleged that some officials were also backing ‘the influential kidnappers’ and police seemed not willing to cooperate in getting recovered his missing daughters . He appealed the chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the matter purely on humanitarian grounds and direct the police and other law enforcement agencies to look into the case and take serious efforts for an early recovery of the missing women.
