Man kills wife, two others over ‘affair’
LAHORE: A man killed three people including his wife over the suspicion that he was having an affair with another man in the Factory Area police precincts on Friday.
Wakeel and his accomplices threw the bodies out on the street after the murders and managed to escape before the police arrived. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Rizwana Kausar (30), her alleged paramour Faraz (26) and Khalid, brother-in-law of the accused. The injured has been identified as Rukhsana Kausar, Rizwana’s sister, the police said. Police said Wakeel, a resident of Bhawalnagar, was married to Rizwana Kausar and quarrels between them had started a year-and-a-half ago when the former allegedly started to steal cars from different areas of the city.
The situation worsened when Rizwana decided to leave her husband a year ago and moved to Rukhsana’s house where the incident occurred, they said. Wakeel attempted reconciliation but his wife refused, the police said. Rizwana allegedly began a relationship with Faraz, they said. On Friday, Wakeel and an unidentified person reached Khalid’s house when Faraz was also present, and they opened indiscriminate fire.
