KHAIRPUR, July 2: A father killed his daughter and another man of his community on pretext of karo-kari on Wednesday in village Waris Gambhir in limits of B-section police station.

Reports said that Rustam Mirbahar opened fire with pistol at his daughter, Shahida Mirbahar, and Khadim Hussain of same village outside his house. Both of them died on the spot.

Later, Rustam reached police station and surrendered himself before the police with his weapon.

Police told reporters that Rustam Mirbahar said that he had no regrets for murdering his daughter and another youngster because he killed them under karo-kari.

The bodies were handed over to relatives after post-mortem at Civil Hospital Khairpur.
