Man kills brother and wife
LARKANA: A man killed his wife and brother on the pretext of karo-kari in a village in the Drigh area of Qambar-Shahdadkot on Saturday night.
Ghulam Abbas Shaikh first shot his wife Bakhtawar, 20, dead, then he went to a village shop and gunned down his brother Faiz Mohammed, 25.
Ghulam Abbas suspected that his wife had illicit relations with his brother.
Shah Murad, the father of the woman, lodged an FIR against Ghulam Abbas who is reported to have been arrested.
Our Sukkur correspondent adds: A woman, Suhagan, was shot dead by her husband Arz Mohammad Shar in Hayat Shar village near Daharki on Saturday night. The man is reported to have accused his wife of being unfaithful to him.
Police took the body to a hospital for post-mortem in the morning. However, no case was registered till late Sunday evening.
The woman`s father, Ghamno Shar, told reporters that his daughter was innocent and his son-in-law frequently tortured her on one pretext or the other.
