Lollywood to enhance fund raising activities
LAHORE: A team of actors will be leaving for Nowshehra with food for sehri for flood victims, as the Lollywood film industry’s actors have enhanced their fund raising activities for those affected by the flood, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.
Director Sangeeta said that under the supervision of the BG Foundation, the Lollywood actors would leave for Nowshehra with food for the flood victims so that they could have sehri with good food. Actress Laila, Meera and Director Syed Noor have applauded the BG Foundation’s services for the flood victims. Director Syed Noor said that although the film industry is facing its worst crisis, actors would not step back from helping the flood victims. Actress Laila said that she would be available to any TV channel for the purpose of fund raising, adding that she said that she would strive to collect funds for the rehabilitation and relief of as many flood victims as she could, the channel reported.
