Lahore High Court frees woman
THE Lahore High Court on Monday freed an 80-year-old Amina Bibi detained by her relatives. Justice Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi issued this order on a petition moved by Amina’s son. He alleged that in order to grab her property some relatives had detained his mother. He said he had also moved some complaints to the local police about the detention of his mother but in vain.
The judge deputed a bailiff who recovered Amina from the custody of her relatives and produced her before the court. Finally, the judge ordered to set Amina free.
