KARACHI: The office-bearers of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) have expressed concern at the injuries sustained by television cameramen in the firing in Lyari. The KPC president, Tahir Hassan Khan, said that two cameramen of television channels were injured in the firing and taken to hospital. In a statement, Khan and KPC Secretary Moosa Kaleem demanded of the authorities that the injured be provided every assistance towards treatment. The KPC office-bearers also appealed to the reporters, photographers and cameramen performing professional duties in a dangerous zone that they should adopt all necessary security steps and take care about their protection.
