Khairpur: The police have registered cases against ten journalists of Khairpur.
According to the report Sobhodero Police registered cases under Anti Terrorist Act against Miskeen Samtio, Mohsin Samtio, Lalo Larik, Mithal khuhro and Imdad Pir Zado Zahid Mirani. While Gambat Police registered case against Safdar Saheto, Asghar Kanasro, Sikander Samtio and Piryaloi Police registered case against Sanaullah Khorkhani and others.
The delegations of journalists from Sobhodero, Khairpur, Pirayaloi and Gambat met with new Dpo Khairpur Fida Hussain Mastoi and urged to cancel the FIRs against journalist.
The DPO assured them that no Journalist will be arrest till the further order and he will conduct inquiry in this regard.
Meanwhile Journalist of Gambat, Sobhodero, Ranipur, Hingorja, Pir Jo Goth Khairpur separately condemned on the regulation FIRs against journalists and demanded to cancel it.
