Karachi’s all districts to have NADRA, passport offices: Rehman Malik
KARACHI: Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik on Monday announced to open offices of passport and NADRA in all the five districts in Karachi.
He said this while talking to media after a meeting here with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Karachi Division’s office bearers, who called on him, led by President PPP Karachi Division Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abidi. He said the passport and NADRA offices would start operations by January 31.He also announced to open passport and NADRA offices to facilitate the people of Lyari. He said the government is alive and the law and order can be controlled in the country when the government is vibrant. Rehman Malik said indiscriminate strict action would be taken against those elements who disturb law and order.
The office bearers of PPP Karachi discussed the party affairs with Rehman Malik during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Faisal Abidi said betterment and welfare of masses is our mission.
He said serving the masses is also our mission and prayed that the New Year 2012 would be better year for the country.
