Journalists to be vaccinated for Hepatitis ‘B’

KARACHI- Manzoor A. Memon, Additional Secretary, Health, and Government of Sindh have said that the members of the Karachi Press Club will be vaccinated for Hepatitis ‘B’ from the special funds allocated by the Federal Government for vaccination of Hepatitis ‘B’.

This he stated during the inauguration of the Blood Screening Camp organized by KPC in collaboration with the Mohammadi Blood Bank and Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority.

Members were screened for I-IIV/AIDS, Hepatitis ‘B’ + ‘C’, Malaria and Syphilis Blood sugar, Blood Grouping.

Shields were presented to Mehdi Rizvi, Dr. Niaz Ahmed Brohi of Spencer’s Eye Hospital, Dr. Abbas Naqvi, Manzoor Memon, Dr. Shafqat Abbasi, Dr. Zahid Ansari and Social Worker Sarwar Ali for their services rendered to the Journalists of KPC.
