Journalists acquitted
NAUSHEHROFEROZ, January 18, 2005: The third civil judge and judicial magistrate Kandyaro, Dad Muhammad Kolachi, on January 17 acquitted the journalists of Mehrabpur Press Club of a contempt case.
The journalists including Muhammad Saleem Mughul, Ghulam Hussain Malik, Muhammad Arfan Anjum, Khaliqur Rehman Khalid, Imdad Soomro, Riaz Mughul, Hafiz Mallah, Mustafa Tahir and Lutifullah Siyal were booked in two cases filed by Rural Health Center Mehrabpur Medical Superitendent Dr Zameerudin Mughul.
Local social and journalistic forums have congratulated the Mehrabpur journalists on their acquittal of the case.
