Journalist’s 3rd death anniversary today

MINGORA: The 3rd death anniversary of The Nation Staff Reporter Siraj ud Din (Shaheed) will be observed Monday (February 28).
Siraj, one of the founders of Swat Press Club, had been associated with journalism for over two decades.
He was martyred in a barbaric suicide attack on the funeral congregation of DSP Javed Iqbal on February 29, 2008.
Swat Union of Journalists has organised a programme at Swat Press Club to pay rich tributes to the work and sacrifices of the martyred journalist.
The press club management has invited all and sundry to participate in the programme.
