Journalist shot dead
KHAIRPUR: Armed men shot dead a reporter of a Sindhi TV channel in Gambat town on Wednesday.
Ashiq Mangi, 30, who worked for Mehran TV, was going to the press club when he was attacked near the post office. He died on the spot.
Journalists and civil society activists condemned the murder and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
They placed the body on the National Highway and held a demonstration.
