Journalist dies of dengue

LAHORE: SENIOR Journalist and Columnist Saud Malik passed away on Monday after a brief illness. He was 50. He had been suffering from dengue fever for the last few days.

His condition became critical last day and he finally breathed his last. His funeral will be offered at his residence situated near Muslim Town. He is survived by a widow, three daughters and a son. Saud Malik remained associated with journalism for the last two and a half decades and worked in various media organisations. President Lahore Press Club Sarmad Bashir, General Secretary Zia Ullah Niazi, Vice President Amir Waqas Chaudhry, Ansar Hussain Zahid and other journalists had also expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Saud Malik.
